    Bryan Ellis, who helped coach Western Kentucky prolific offenses the past 3 seasons (2014-16) and even called plays during the Hilltoppers’ 2016 bowl game, has joined USC in March of 2017 as an offensive administrative assistant.

    USC has produced some of college football’s most legendary players, coaches, games and moments. There have been 11 national championships, 34 bowl victories, 166 All-Americans, 6 Heisman Trophy winners, 43 College Football Hall of Famers, 22 Academic All-Americans, 485 NFL players and 15 Pro Football Hall of Famers. The 2017 Trojans—the school’s 125th football team—want to add to that legacy. They certainly are well equipped to do so.
  4. Deland McCullough Named USC Running Backs Coach
    Deland McCullough, a former college and pro running back who spent the past 6 years coaching the position at Indiana, has been named USC’s running backs coach and run game coordinator, Trojan head coach Clay Helton announced today (March 3).
  5. Former USC Running Backs Coach John Jackson Dies
    John Jackson, who was the running backs coach for tailbacks Marcus Allen and Charles White during their Heisman Trophy-winning seasons at USC, died on Thursday (Feb. 16) in Torrance, Calif., of complications following intestinal surgery. He was 81.
