  1. Fred Lynn Announced as Member of the Class of 2017 Omaha College Baseball Hall of Fame
    Two of the greatest players ever to participate in the College World Series will be inducted into the Omaha College Baseball Hall of Fame July 1 in Omaha, Neb. Trojan great Fred Lynn will join Pat Burrell (Miami) as inductee into the Omaha College Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2017.
  2. Carrillo Drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 33rd Round of the 2017 MLB Draft
    Trojan junior third baseman Adalberto Carrillo was drafted in the 33rd round, 1003 pick overall as a catcher by the Washington Nationals on day three of the 2017 MLB First Year Players Draft.
  3. Rios Drafted in the 17th Round of the 2017 Draft by Boston
    Shortstop Frankie Rios was the first Trojan taken in the 2017 Major League Baseball First Year Players Draft, drafted in the 17th round, pick 521 overall by the Boston Red Sox.
  4. Nootbaar, Rios Lead a Group of Four Trojans Earning All-Pac-12 Honors
    Four Trojans earned postseason Pac-12 honors, led by All-Pac-12 honorees Lars Nootbaar and Frankie Rios, and honorable mention selections Adalberto Carrillo and Brandon Perez.
  5. Dempster, Dyrda and Perryman Earn Pac-12 All-Academic Honors
    Senior outfielder Corey Dempster, along with junior pitchers Bryce Dyrda and Mason Perryman all earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention for excelling in the classroom along with on the diamond.
