   Long Beach, Calif. - Senior co-captain Brandon Garcia continued to fuel the Trojans winning ways as he allowed only two runs on 5 hits in 5.2 innings on the way to USC's 4-2 victory over Long Beach State Tuesday night at Blair Field.
2. Trojans Complete Series Sweep With 4-3 Win Over Jacksonville
   Freshman lefty Stephen Tarpley was impressive allowing only two runs on five hits and striking out nine batters as the USC baseball team completed the series sweep against Jacksonville with a 4-3 win at Dedeaux Field Sunday afternoon. The Trojans start the season 3-0 for the first time since 2008.
3. Trojans Drown Dolphins 11-3
   LOS ANGELES - The USC baseball team exploded for eight runs on five hits in a lengthy seventh inning to seal an 11-3 victory over Jacksonville Saturday afternoon at Dedeaux Field.
4. USC Defeats Jacksonville 8-2 In Season Opener
   USC Senior Andrew Triggs (1-0) allowed only two runs on five hits and struck out six in six innings, while junior Adam Landecker went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Trojans (1-0) to an 8-2 victory over Jacksonville Friday night in front of a crowd of 1,018 at Dedeaux Field.
5. USC Opens 2012 Season By Hosting Jacksonville
   LOS ANGELES -- The USC baseball team opens the 2012 season by hosting Jacksonville for a three-game series at Dedeaux Field, Friday-Sunday (February 17-19). Friday's opener is set for 6 p.m., with the series continuing Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.
